The case for one post
A single-post lift is a capacity decision disguised as a space decision. The workshops that buy the XP-1527 are not short of work; they are short of a bay they can permanently surrender. The lift rolls to the car for prep, inspection, detailing and wheel work, then rolls to the wall. At 2,700 kg and a full 1,800 mm lifting height it is a real lift, not a jack substitute — with mechanical locking and the family's standard 24 Mpa hydraulics and 50-second cycle.
The honesty obligation runs the other way too: one post means the vehicle is carried from one side, the base footprint plus overhang is the working area, and sustained heavy underbody work belongs on fixed lifts. The checks below are written to surface a mismatch before purchase rather than after.
Reading its specification as a buyer
Capacity 2,700 kg and minimum height 140 mm place it squarely in car work, including low cars. Overall width 1,968 mm is the base's working footprint across the post; overall height 2,550 mm is the figure for doorways and the storage corner. Machine weight 850 kg is heavy enough to stay planted and light enough to move on its base across a sound floor.
Motor 2.2 kW on 380V three-phase or 220V single-phase supply, so the lift works where the building's power is, and the cable run to its working positions is part of siting. None of these figures is remarkable alone; together they describe a machine designed to be repositioned, which is the entire point.

Checks before an XP-1527 quote
- Your heaviest regular car named against the 2,700 kg rating.
- Floor flatness and condition along the base's rolling paths.
- Doorway and storage-corner heights against the 2,550 mm overall height.
- One-sided overhang clearance where the lift will work.
- Power reach to each working position you intend.
Questions buyers ask about portable single post lift
What work should it not do?
Sustained heavy underbody work — gearbox-out, subframe work — belongs on a fixed two-post or four-post lift. The XP-1527's territory is inspection, prep, wheels, brakes and light repair, and it is excellent there.
Does it need a perfectly level floor?
It needs a sound, reasonably level floor, like any lift, and its base spreads the load rather than bolting down. Broken or steeply sloped floors are a no — describe yours in the inquiry if in doubt.
Can one person move it?
The base is designed to be repositioned by the operator on a sound floor. The 850 kg weight is a machine that rolls, not a machine that is carried.
