AC service machines

AC recovery and service machines

Recover, vacuum and recharge vehicle air conditioning as one machine cycle. The range runs from the X845 and X820 stations — take their full specification from their page — to the fully automatic X849 dual-gas machine, the X880 built for R1234yf, and special-purpose models for heavy trucks, flushing, small-can and external-tank charging.

Fit check: an AC station is chosen by the refrigerant your vehicle work uses and the service volume per week — confirm both before comparing screen sizes.

One station for the whole service cycle

An AC service machine earns its place by closing the loop: it recovers refrigerant from the vehicle, holds it in its working tank, pulls the system down to vacuum to prove and dry it, and recharges by weight. Doing those steps on separate equipment is slower and loses refrigerant at every joint; the station keeps the cycle sealed and weighed. The X845 and X820 recover at 95% efficiency or better and charge to ±10 g accuracy from an 18 kg working tank, differing in display (7-inch touch against 2.8-inch button screen) and filter capacity.

The fully automatic end of the range is about gases and special jobs: the X849 handles two gases, the X880 is the R1234yf machine, the X850 is built for heavy trucks, the X868 adds flushing, and the X870 and X875 cover small-can and external-tank charging. Refrigerant type is the first buying question — the gases in your customers' vehicles decide the station — so work through the second detail page by gas, not by cabinet.

The AC range at a glance

Start with the two stations tabulated in full below; the automatic models divide by gas and special job.

ItemWhat it is / how it is handled
X8457-inch touch screen station; filter capacity 150 kg; the range's fullest specification.
X8202.8-inch button screen station; filter capacity 100 kg; the same recovery and charge standard.
X849Fully automatic dual-gas recovery machine for mixed-gas workshops.
X880Fully automatic machine built for R1234yf refrigerant.
X850 / X868 / X870 / X875Heavy-truck, flushing, small-can and external-tank variants — ask by the job.

Checks before an AC quote

  • The refrigerant types in the vehicles you service — this decides the model first.
  • Service volume per week at peak season, which sizes filter and tank cycling.
  • Workshop power supply (the tabulated stations run 220V/50Hz) and where the station stands.
  • Local rules for refrigerant handling that apply to your technicians.
  • Whether hose length (3 m on the tabulated stations) reaches across your bay layout.

Questions buyers ask about ac service machines

X845 or X820?

The service cycle is the same; the X845 buys the touch screen and half as much again filter capacity. High-volume shops feel the filter difference; occasional-service shops rarely do.

Which machine for R1234yf?

The X880 is the range's R1234yf model, and the dual-gas X849 covers workshops whose fleet mix spans two gases. The gas page works through the choice; do not buy a single-gas station against a mixed fleet.

Does it find leaks?

The vacuum stage proves a system holds vacuum, which is the workshop's standard leak screen before charging; a system that will not hold vacuum should not be charged, whatever the machine.

Send an inquiry

Ask for the unit matched to your work. Send the model code you are considering and the work it will do each week; ask for that model's specification sheet in return.
