Single post lifts
Single post car lifts
One post, a wide low base and a vehicle lifted from one side: the single-post lift is the flexible bay-filler that parks against a wall when it is not working. The family is one model deep and built around the XP-1527.

The lift that moves out of the way
A single-post lift carries the vehicle on arms from one column mounted on a wide, low base. The base is the point: the lift can be rolled to the work, and rolled back against a wall or into a corner when the bay is needed for something else. For workshops adding capacity without building work, for seasonal overflow, and for detailing and delivery-prep areas, that mobility is worth more than the outright capacity a fixed lift would give.
The XP-1527 is rated at 2,700 kg and lifts to 1,800 mm, which covers cars and car-derived vans: take its full parameter table from its page. One model means one honest conversation: if your vehicles or your floor do not suit it, step up to the two-post family rather than stretching the single-post idea past its work.

| Item | What it is / how it is handled |
|---|---|
| Overflow capacity | A second lifting point for peak weeks without a second fixed installation. |
| Detailing and prep | Raise the car to working height for polishing, inspection and delivery checks. |
| Tyre and brake corner | Wheel work at a movable station that follows the season. |
| Storage assist | Lift and hold a vehicle while another is manoeuvred in a tight store. |
| Step up | Vehicles past the rating belong on the two-post or four-post families — ask and be pointed there. |
Checks before a single-post quote
- Vehicle weights against the 2,700 kg rating, with your heaviest regular car named honestly.
- Floor flatness along the paths the base will roll, and the storage corner it will live in.
- Overhang: the lifted vehicle sits to one side of the post, so wall clearance is one-sided.
- Power supply reach — the lift works where it stands, so the cable run matters.
Questions buyers ask about single post lifts
Is a single-post lift safe for repair work?
It is a rated lifting machine with mechanical locking like the rest of the range, and it suits inspection, detailing, wheel and light repair work at its rating. Sustained heavy underbody work belongs on a fixed two-post or four-post lift, describe the work honestly in the inquiry and ask which form it points to.
Does it need bolting down or floor work?
The pallet base is the installation: no bolt pattern and no pit. It does need a sound, level floor and room for the base footprint plus the vehicle's overhang.
Can it lift vans?
Car-derived vans inside the weight rating and arm reach, yes; panel vans and anything past the rating, no — that is two-post territory.
